During the lesson, I learned a lot on the basics of editing in Adobe photoshop. I found out about the use of the different tools and features. The features I found really easy to use are the cropping tool, smudging tool, blurring tool and the different types of lassos. There are still a lot of tools that I have yet to master. I'm not really a big fan of digital arts, I prefer traditional, hence I hate using photoshop. I suck at it big time and I always complain about how I never want to use that program again, but having an actual tutorial in class made me think twice that it may not be as bad as I make it out to be. I really had fun exploring the tools and features in Adobe photoshop. I guess all I needed was an actual demo from our teacher. One more thing that I really liked was the photo manipulation technique. I think this is my "style" when it comes to photo editing. The photo manipulation technique is a technique where you put different images together to create a new whole image or scene. I had so much fun editing and putting a few elements of one picture into another, like how I took the woman, elephant and flower (from pictures #1, 2 & 3, respectively) and put them in picture #4 which was a park scenery. I took my time re-scaling them and blurring the other parts of the image to give the effect that it was actually in 'that' photo. I also like the puppet trick that is featured in the Adobe photoshop. It allowed us to distort the chosen subject into the form that we desired, sometimes even distorting it weirdly for fun.
