Our latest lesson was all about bokeh. Bokeh means "blur" in Japanese. This effect is popular and can be done easily. An easy way to achieve the bokeh style in photography is to set your camera's aperture to f/2 or larger such as f/1.8 or f/1.4. Using the live-view option of the camera is very much preferred. If you prefer to shoot with a subject, it is best to put it far from the background to maximize the blur effect. Here are some of the shots I took last week:
